Mommy Moments - Summer Time
Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos of Aj having some beach or pool escapade. I thought he was too young to dip in the pool and at the beach. Though, my parents have plans this summer to have a beach getaway with the kids so we’ll definitely go, especially if it’s a free stay at hotel as well!lol!
So for this week, I’ll be sharing a video that my BIL have taken with Aj having his first dip on his wading pool.
Take note that after this he had a 3 days fever.lol! (ayaw kasing paawat!lol)

Proud Parents
Aj will be 3 years old by August of this year. And with that, I’m really very proud of what my son has achieved as a young boy throughout the years. Many had observed that Aj is more advanced compared to other children of his age and sometimes to some children older than him. And we the parents are awesomely proud when we hear praises about how we raised our child.
Many say my son is so “bibbo” (active) and he’s at his best when there are a lot of people in his surroundings. Like this incident when his second cousin’s came to visit. They began reading books later that afternoon when his tita ask them what was in the picture (pointing on a drum’s picture), he’s older cousin (a 4 yr old) uttered, “That is a guitar!” Aj suddenly said, “No! That is a drum! boom boom boom… “ ( with sound effects pa ha )
Other says he’s also well mannered and very lovable. Like when his cousin Joko pushed him down the floor and his cousin Lyka pinched him, he didn’t fight back at all. Because we told him not to because it was bad and they are his little cousins.
These incidents and compliments actually gave us a boost to teach him more and be more attentive to his needs. Though, we admit that we sometimes lack time (due to work) to be with him. That doesn’t mean that we love him less. That’s why our motto was to make it a point to buy him some books and other learning tools to mold and maximize his mental ability, even though that purchase might catch us short on the budget. What matters to us is the betterment of our child. That’s it!
Hayyy, being a parent is truly a sacrifice and a reward as well.

~ Parenting Style ~
1. Do you exercise full or minimal control over your child’s / children’s behavior?
+ My hubby and I usually shares in controlling our child’s behavior. My hubby usually is the disciplinary type though I also do some little disciplining when Aj needs to be stop.
2. Do you expect your child / children to obey 100% or let her / him / them do what pleases her / him / them?
+ No I don’t because he’s not perfect and somehow he has his own personality. But it would be nicer for a parent to have her child 100% well-behaved.
3. Do you welcome discussion or you simply set rules?
+ I’m quite flexible on this area but my hubby isn’t. lol!
4. Do you reprimand?
+ Yes, though in a short span only.
5. Do you use spanking for punishment?
+ Not really, I usually talked a lot.
6. Do you use some kind of a reward System for motivation?
+ Yes.

+ Yes, definitely! Though sometimes it’s really hard to be one…

+ I’m a working mom so my MIL usually takes care of Aj when I’m away…

+ Since May of 2005. That makes May 2009 our 4th year…

+ I feel blessed to have my hubby beside me but guilty as well because he’s more caring than I am..

+ Just shorts and sleeping blouse…

+ Hugs and Kisses and by giving him what he wants. Lol!….

Anyways, I need to ciao again because I’m really really busy at work and I only have limited time with the net. My boss asked me to check some rv camping and that’s what I’m going to do afterwards.

Finally, it is confirmed! My brother’s will have their church wedding this May! Now that this joyous event is finally happening, I have to help them with their wedding stuffs especially the bride on a budget is going to have a baby soon! Lol! My baby brother will finally be a father.
Anyways, I bet they’ll need my help especially on their wedding invitations. As some of you don’t know I usually create invitations of all sorts. I’ll be browsing the web for some resources and online shopping if ever I won’t be the one who’ll be making their invitations. Well, if I can’t make it till the deadline, we still have the option of buying some cheap wedding invitations instead of my masterpieces! Lol!
Kidding aside, I’m very excited with this wedding. Why? Because my son Aj will be the ring bearer! His first ever! Goody! I just hope he walks straight by then and won’t get cranky. Lol!

Mommy Moments - Sleeping Time
Honestly, I currently don’t have any photos of Aj while sleeping. Why?
Because my MIL as well as mom says it’s not proper and it’s bad because of some omen or something! Well, it’s obvious that our parents still believes in superstitious beliefs or “ pamahiin” in these days. That’s why I only have these early cuties photos…

My Son is a Lola’s Boy
I always thought that my son was a Lola’s boy. Why?
Because every time he feels sick he always calls his Lola for help. Though whenever I’m home he first turns to me but in a matter of minutes, if he still feels sick he seeks the help of his Lola.
Not that I don’t want that kind of reaction from him, it’s just that I’m the “Mother” which means I should be the one he needs, especially in times when he feels sick and upset, right? But it seems that it’s the other way around. 
I feel really bad when that happens but somehow I relieve myself by being more rational than emotional. Anyways, I know I shouldn’t feel that bad because she is his Lola – the mother of his daddy and somehow I’ve reminded myself that their bond was bought about my absence when I’m at work. But somehow it still hurts! I feel so useless whenever that happens.
Urgh! Is this the burden of being a working mom?!
Ready to Operate
We did our rounds yesterday and we found out that we have no exit signs! Yes, can you imagine a manufacturing plant without any exit signs!? Gosh that would be disaster, right? Good thing, we where able to inspect before the fire department did or else they might have relinquish our fire permit and that would made the plant in violation of their regulations and in short we cannot operate!
Anyways, we already made some necessary moves to correct that. We already have an approved purchase order for that and we just have to buy the exit sign later after lunch. Then we’ll just post them right away and that’s it and we are done.

+ Just this morning when I said “I’m not sure if we’re coming but where definitely be there”

+ It depends on the severity of his/her lies!

+ Sometimes! lol!

+ Not at all.

+ That I’ll be leaving for Orlando vacations! Just kidding! That would be a “secret”!lol!

+ Yes, specially it will hurt someone really bad.

+ Fortunately, none

+ Yes, normally you can see them in the way to talk, act and the way they look into your eyes.
