Here are some of Aj’s latest picture now at his 19th month.

Kamukha na nya talaga ang daddy nya here…

Treasured Milestones:

~ He’s able to comprehend simple instructions like “put the thing in the box”, “go to daddy”, “call the puppy”, “ stop doing that”

~ He knows and speak a lot of words – like daddy, mama, joko (name of his cousin) tatang & ma’ma” (for his grandparents), cry, hug, love-love, nose, eyes, ears mouth, teeth, sponge bob, apple.

~ He knows and can distinguish parts of the body like eyes, nose, mouth, ear, hand, tummy and teeth!

~ He sort off memorize most of the animal sound and names in his brainy baby books, as in he can utter the exact name of the animal plus its sounds like the “goat and meee”, “ duck and quack-quack”

~ Knows shapes and most of the alphabets – like circle, square, oval, star and diamond, “a – s” (though he cannot utter them yet in their exact order)

~ He really loves basket ball and swimming in his new pool.

~ He counts while showing his fingers- count up to 5! But the numbers are not so clear yet

~ He love to dance to any sounds, especially those in my cp lol!

~ He can draw a circle though not that round

~ Eat with a spoon! But he’s really messy.

~ He’s a great climber, jumper and runner.

~ Can sing a bit the second verse of twinkle twinkle little star! Up above….

I think he’ll be a great athlete in the future

It was the night I’ll never forget on my whole mommy life!

It was about 10 pm and AJ was still up, I tried to put him down to slumber but he was like an “energizer” that’s full of energy that he just wants to play even though it’s too late in the evening. But I still insisted on putting him to sleep so he cried and he cried until my temper raised up and get so annoyed of his whining ( I feel so sleepy na kc eh and I’m so tired after 12 hours of work ). I spanked him a little bit (as in tapik lang talaga) he still keeps on whining, so I put him down and pat his butt in a spanking motion (slight lang ha, promise!) and told him in a toned voice, “ Its too late na, why don’t you sleep, sleep na, sleep na!”.

You know what happen next? He cried pa even more and I got a bit scared when he cried so hard that no voice came out from his mouth! I cuddle him and release the tension from him, I snuggled him more but he never stops crying. Until my MIL went to our room and ask what happen. I told him the whole story and when Aj saw his lola he went to her and cover in for comfort.

Then I realized “parang nagtampo yata ang aking baby”, when I tried to get him from my MIL he shove me away and I was like so hurt that my baby boy doesn’t want me anymore. But I tried to assessed things up and maybe nga he was like “ngtatampo lang”. Minutes pass but he still wants to be with my MIL. So, my MIL laid him down to bed until he relaxes and finally went to me and ask me to cradle him. I was so happy when he did that, at least after everything that had happen he still wants me -his mom. Now, I realized that I have to keep calm on situations that need more cuddling than nagging or spanking. I promised to myself that as much as possible what happen last night will never happen again.

ay, diyos ko po, nilapirot nya po ang aking baby! hehe

Btw, these pictures were shot last Sunday, an advanced party celeb of my SIL’s bday.

Is it normal for toddlers to frequently wake up during the night or early in the morning and with some crying ritual at the same time? Unfortunately, Aj has been like this for a couple of weeks now.

He started having his regular “night waking” since the day he said goodbye to his pacifier. ( I think ha ) I’m not sure if this is still an “aftershock” of his dependency to his binky” but nevertheless it’s still bothersome to Aj and especially to us his parents. I personally am worried with the effects of this to his development. Db a child experiences maximum development during his sleep? So what happens if he doesn’t get the sleep that he needs? Db? Why he is like this, is he overtired?

I tried relieving any possible aches, especially in his tummy, by applying”efficacent oil”, para iwas kabag! Then, I also applied some lotion with lavender scent for him to have a soothing sleep. Pero wa epek parin! He still wakes up and cries!

Another thing, because of his regular waking and crying, his dad get annoyed to the point that he scolded him from crying too much, and when Adrian does that, Aj cries even more. Hayyy! Sometimes, this issue results to minor misunderstanding between me and Adrian and I just hate it!

What should I do? Does anyone of you mommies experience this with your babies before? I read some books regarding this night wakings, but it’s just not enough for me. I want actual proofs!

Btw, Aj is exactly 19 months today.

Hay, I really need some help here!!!

I just saw these pictures in my cam’s memory card, so I uploaded them in my PC and thought of posting them here.

These were shot last December 2007 pa, Aj then was a cam freak. Lol! As in, he always greets the camera with his cheesy smile! Lol!

Look how cute he is ohh.. hehehe

His smile can surely brighten up my gloomiest day!

My SIL gave me this cutie graphic of AJ. She made it by herself, I mean the time and effort of doing it db? I’m really touched.

That’s why I’m posting it here to express my gratitude to my SIL Arcelie. Thank you so much sis!

Last week I bought this book for Aj’s Leap Frog Little Touch. This is actually a good book, with its cartridge in it the book comes to life. It also teaches your toddler about numbers & emotions.

But unfortunately, Aj don’t like it that much. Well, I think it’s kinda’ evident why he dislikes it, the characters really look scary. Hmm, you know what I didn’t even realize that until Aj cried when the monster said “awoooh!” (silly mommy) lol!

Anyways, I think I’ll just sell this book on eBay and purchase a new one. Now, I’ll make sure that the next book will make Aj happy. I’m eyeing on the ABC Adventure of Tad, I just wish he’ll love it.

Aj really loves dogs! Yes, as in sobra. We got him this stuff dog and he always kiss the pup and call it “puppy”. He’s so cute, when he utter the word ” puppy!”

So, as much as we want him to have a real puppy ( w/c hindi pa pwede), we just decided to dress the pup with a tie.

Yesterday, I went to the mall for some window shopping. I thought of giving Aj a footwear from crocs, as one of his gifts this christmas.

Upon entering the store, I saw kaagad this cutie kids crocling mickey camo. Kasi ba naman naka display sya sa harap, lol! Pero other than that, this crocling really got my attention. Feeling ko ang cute tingnan kay Aj db? Look oh! Pang-cutie tots tlga..

Then suddenly, I saw another crocling – kids crocling camo, cutie din cya, I love its color and the camoflauge design, feeling ko bagay na bagay din sya kay Aj, db db?

Hay, can’t decide what to buy? I only have to choose 1 as per hubby

You guys, alin sa dalawa ang mas cutie? Help me naman oh…
